The Dolan DNA Learning Center is open to the public Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm, Closed on Saturday and Sunday, with the exception of Saturdays during the academic year (Open 12pm-4pm) when we are offering Saturday DNA! programs (see Saturday DNA! page for more info.) PLEASE NOTE: The Genes We Share museum exhibition is currently closed due to building renovations, and is expected to reopen later in the fall.

From the West:

Take the Long Island Expressway (exit 41 North) or the Northern State Parkway (exit 35 North) to Route 106 North (Jericho-Oyster Bay Road). Take 106 north to Route 25A east. Make a right onto 25A and travel east for approximately four miles. (You will pass Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory on your left at Bungtown Road. DO NOT ENTER BUNGTOWN RD. ENTRANCE). Continue on 25A to the next traffic signal and bear left into the town of Cold Spring Harbor (25A is Main Street). Pass the shops in town. The Dolan DNA Learning Center is the red brick schoolhouse on the right, just past the Whaling Museum.

From the East:

Take the Long Island Expressway (exit 49 north) or the Northern State Parkway (exit 40 north) to Route to 110 North. Take 110 north to 25A west into the town of Cold Spring Harbor. Route 25A is Main Street. The Dolan DNA Learning Center is the red brick schoolhouse on the left across from the intersection of Goose Hill Road, just before the Whaling Museum.

By subway:

Lexington Avenue Line: The 6 train stops at 116th St. and 125th St. The 4 & 5 Express trains stop at 125th Street. Click here for MTA subway map.

By bus:

From Long Island Expressway (Route 495)

From the West:

Take LIE (495) to Exit 34 - New Hyde Park Road. Make a right onto New Hyde Park Road going south. Continue with directions below.

From the East:

Take LIE (495) West to Exit 34 New Hyde Park Road. Take North Service Rd to New Hyde Park Rd. Make left onto New Hyde Park Rd going south. Continue with directions below.

From Grand Central Parkway/Northern State Parkway

Take the Northern State Parkway/Grand Central Parkway to Exit 26-S and merge onto New Hyde Park Road, going south. Continue with directions below.

Continued….. Stay in right lane on New Hyde Park Road. Watch for two large signs "Lake Success Quadrangle" and make a right turn at the second sign. Continue straight ahead. We are the third building on the left (light gray concrete building with small loading dock). Go to the far side of this building (sign says "10 Nevada Drive" pointing left) and make a left into this parking lot. You will pass NS-LIJ Laboratory entrance with a blue awning on your left. Continue towards second entrance, at 5 Delaware Drive, and park. We are located through the glass entry doors, and up the stairs. Follow signs to Suite 5.
